The owning and wearing of Plate Armors is restricted to the Nobility and certain Religious Orders.
Crossbows of any sort are restricted to the military and certain religious orders and guilds.
Hand Crossbows are illegal to anyone.
Bows are allowed as hunting weapons.
Light weapons are allowed, but most larger weapons are not. Permits are required to transport larger weapons in the cities.
Imperial Purple is only allowed to be worn by the Imperial Family and by decree of the Imperial Family. Currently the Imperial Gaurd wears purple cloaks and the officers wear helmets with purple horse-hair crests.
Any item deemed to be "Old Tech" can be confiscated by the government. The previous owner will be compensated.
Women are not allowed to vote or hold government jobs of offices. Unless they are part of a noble house they are not allowed to own land.
Feltrest

Zahkhara
Certain breeds of horses are restricted to nobility.
Stealing camels or horses results in the death penalty.
Kidnapping a woman is a minor offense. However, her family is free to retaliate without retribution until she is returned.
Spilling or wasting water is a major fine and an occasional night in jail.
It is legal to have multiple wives as long as you can support them all equally.
