Elves

There are 4 major clans of Elves. The elves of the Elderwood are the most populous and well known. They are typical high elves, though there are clans of wood elves and grey elves. The Elderwood is a huge ancient forest in the central north area. The Elysian Elves are from the southeast on the tip of the Dragon Peninsula. Until the last 20-30 years they have been nearly unknown. They tend to be very pale and albinos are common. They live in huge ancient trees. They are often mistaken for albino drow. The Elves of the Glenwood forest are not friendly towards outsiders and are very protective of their forests. They are often referred to as sylvan or wild elves. They tend to have dark, tanned skin and brown and green hairs. Fair haired Glenwood elves are rare and are considered touched by the gods. There are some clans of high elves in these woods who are a bit more open to outsiders. The fourth major clan or race of elves is the Drow. They have dark black skin and pale hair. They worship Lloth, the evil Spider Queen. They tend to stay in the Underdark, but do on occasion come to the surface to raid and cause mayhem.
