Abu Rhajeedad, aka Snake Eyes, aka Steak Knife, grew up in the life of luxury in the capital city of the Tyrian Empire, Tyr. His father was one of the new Lords who had risen to serve King Deltari Myth after the War of Tyrian Independance in which King Del cast his out the Dark Lord in Tyr who had been manipulating his brother, the acting King.
However, Abu was fond of hanging out in the lower sections of the city and carousing with the common folk. Nearly every night you could find him, late into the wee hours before dawn, throwing dice, playing cards, or just drinking and talking with people who his father would not consider respectable. But for Abu, it was all worth the trouble, because down in those streets he met her, Sonja Ariela. She was the daughter of one of the innkeepers whom he regularly visited, and she had caught his eye from the first moment he'd entered the building. The innkeeper was, of course, thrilled that a noble's son would take interest in his daughter, so he encouraged her every chance he could get, even going so far as to try and get word of a "tryst" that supposedly happened between Abu and his daughter to the Upper City, and into the ears of Ala'an Rhajeedad, Abu's father. Of course, he didn't know what doom he was setting into motion by doing this, he just wanted to get a better life.
Within a week of the innkeeper's attempt to get word to Lord Rhajeedad a terrible accident had occurred. There had been a riot down in the Lower City, and several buildings had been burned to the ground, The Prancing Gulley Dwarf, Sonja's fathers inn amoung them. For days Abu grieved, while his father told him tried to comfort and console him. In the end, Abu pulled out of his grief enough to decide he wanted to know exactly what happened. After a few months of investigating, he found out that the "riot" was really just a cover, and that the burnings, specifically the burning of the inn, had been masterminded by his father, who wasn't about to let his son get a child upon a common girl. His father had also arranged for the inn's doors and windows to be barricaded, preventing those inside from escaping and dooming them to a fiery, painful death.
The instant that Abu learned of this he barrged into the middle of a meeting in which his father was presiding over and accused him of murder, then and there. His father, of course, denied all such accusations, and ordered Abu to leave the palace and go home, where they would talk about his "preposterous" story. Obediently, and because while in the palace the guards would obey his father's commands and not his own, Abu returned to his family's estate and waited for his father to return. When his dad finally did return home, he did something totally unexpected, and completely unforgivable. He threatened his father with a knife.
Before the sun rose the following morning Abu, now calling himself Snake Eyes, was traveling out of the city three steps ahead of the police. His life story from there, is a mystery.

Background & History
Growing up as part of a merchant family that had lived in Zakhar since prior to the Dragon Wars. He devoped a few, attitudes to the life he was. He hated Zakhar and he hated the merchant life, although it did allow for certain... comforts shall we say. However he wasn't interested in taking over the family business, being the eldest and the only child, it was his duty as heir to run the business when dad died. After getting into many an arguement with his father about his spending too much time associating with the commoners in the local taverns and inns, dicing and playing cards, to which Tymera, aka Lady Luck, seemed to favor him greatly. Seeing his future stunted and boring following in good ol' dads path, he spent one too many nights in said taverns, drinking and gambling with the locals, that dad finally kicked him out of the house, and the family.
Not on to look a gift horse in the mouth, he took this opportunity as his chance to travel, see the world and gamble with others, Zakharans just weren't the same, at least to him they weren't, he did learn however, that they were in fact the same, in fact they were nicer then most, seeing as cheating was forbidden by their faith.
Having quickly run out of his supply of cash he was forced into the life of a common thief, stealing what he, gambling, in which Tymera still favored him it seems, for what he couldn't. He drifted from town to town, through country after country, until fortune, or maybe misfortune, brought him a small town on the coast of the Troll Sea by the name of Breen.
